FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building technique, namely to methods of prestressing the area of connection of prestressed reinforced-concrete floating members. The proposed method for prestressing the area of abutting members connection of prestressed reinforced-concrete pontoon consists in connection of abutting members reinforcing, sealing the region of splicing, its concreting and crimping, where the crimping of splicing region is performed by means of ballasting pontoon chambers with liquid concrete.
EFFECT: more effective technique of large-dimensioned concrete prestressed floating craft construction due to possibility to form it afloat of separate blocks, improved crack resistance and strength of concrete prestressed floating craft body structure, as well as reduced mass and cost of such floating craft.
