FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to method of preparation of hyperpolarised 129Xe and to method of preparation of contrast agent, applied in magnet-resonance visualisation of human or animal body. Method includes preparation of mixture of xenon at least one solvent or mixture of solvents, which represent one-chain alcohols or glycols, and/or possess good lipophilic properties, and free radical. Hyperpolarisation of said mixture is carried out according to method of dynamic nuclear polarisation in order to obtain hyperpolarised 129Xe. Further separation of xenon from other mixture components is carried out. Presence of solvent enhances resulting polarisation. 129Xe remains in hyperpolarised state during period long enough to obtain MP-images with higher contrast range.
