SUBSTANCE: method of quartz grist production includes preparation of quartz raw material, as such wastes and spoilage of production of crystallized quartz from liquid quartz by hydrothermal method are used; mechanical crushing; thermal crushing by heating to 1000-1100°C with further water cooling; mechanical grinding with isolation of 0.1-0.28 mm fraction; magnetic separation; chemical processing in mixture of acids 25-30% HCl and 9-11% HF during 40-45 min; washing with water to neutral reaction of washing water; filtration; drying and operation of high-temperature chlorination at temperature 1000-1200°C during 25-30 min.
