SUBSTANCE: refrigerating facility contains control chart with constant or variable algorithms for defrosting which specify operating schedule of facility for defrosting on base of commencement and expiring of cut rate for electric power consumption, which rates are established by electric power distributors. At that the refrigerating facility is designed so as to perform defrosting during cut rate periods of power consumption by means of delaying the time of commencement of defrosting procedure before the beginning of cut rate of power consumption comes into effect, or accelerating commencement of defrosting procedure for a period of time a little bit after expiring of cut rate of power consumption to reduce power consumption cost.

EFFECT: facilitates reducing consumer's cost to power consumption.
