FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns radio location equipment and can be applied in modeling various radio location or similar systems for aircraft navigation using radio waves by aircraft location and travel control. Objective is achieved due to calculation of location correction signal for aircraft travel control by radio waves, using three coordinates. Aircraft navigation method involves reference site map plotted by conventional method before beginning of aircraft traffic, selection of measurement site of reference map, plotting current map by radio wave measurement of measurement site parametres, comparison of obtained measurement site data for current and reference maps, calculation of travel path correction signal on the basis of multipath three-coordinate measurement results, and aircraft travel control by its location correction during travel over measurement site.
EFFECT: enhanced response and accuracy of aircraft navigation method.
