SUPERCONDUCTING CABLE OPERATING PROCEDURE AND SUPERCONDUCTING CABLE SYSTEM Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC H01B12/16

Abstract RU 2338281 C2

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: according to superconducting cable operating procedure using coolant cooled conductor for transmission of electrical energy, coolant temperature change provides superconducting cable transmission capacity change (110, 120, 130). As superconducting materials provide higher conductivity while reducing cooling temperature, cooling temperature can be changed to change superconducting cable transmission capacity (110, 120, 130) not projecting cables with greater robustness or connecting supplementary cable.

EFFECT: provided control of superconducting cable transmission capacity at minimum costs.
