SUPERCONDUCTING CABLE Russian patent published in 2010 - IPC H01B12/14

Abstract RU 2379777 C2

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, particularly to superconducting cable that preserves preset heat insulation properties without vacuum heat insulation structure. In compliance with this invention, proposed cable incorporates cable assembly 100 wherein core with superconducting and electro insulating layers us arranged inside the pipe housing said cable, heat insulation element 200 arranged outside said cable assembly in non-vacuum state, and sealing element to prevent an ingress of humidity into said heat insulation element. Aforesaid outside element 200 maintains the temperature of cable assembly coolant and represents at least any of multilayer heat insulators and filling heat insulators, or sealing element, to maintain preset heat insulation properties.

EFFECT: higher reliability.
