FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the device with superconductive cable (4) and the first cryostat (K1) surrounding it to pass the first cooling agent, which consists of two coaxial metal tubes (9, 10) placed at the distance from each other with heat insulation between them. Along the whole length the first cryostat (K1) comprises the cavity (HR) with the cable (4) inside it; the first cooling agent is passed through the cavity during operation of the device. Magnesium diboride is used as superconductive material, liquid or gaseous cooling agent chilled up to temperature of 39K or less is used as the first cooling agent. Around the first cryostat (K1) the second cryostat (K2) is shaped coaxially at distance from it to pass the second cooling agent; it also consists of two coaxial metal tubes (13, 14) placed at the distance from each other with heat insulation (15) and liquefied gas at temperature of 112K or less is passed through it during operation of the device. In interspace (12) between the first cryostat (K1) and the second cryostat (K2) there is insulation (16) resistant to high voltage, which surrounds the outer tube (10) of the first cryostat (K1) and supported by it and which is washed by liquefied gas passing in the interspace (12) and impregnated with it during operation.
EFFECT: cooling of cable down to temperature of 39K or less with simultaneous optimisation of the cable electric properties.
