FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves mixing potassium overperoxide and chrysotile. Further there is formation of the obtained mixture and thermal treatment of the formed product for 5-8 hours at 350-500°C. A self-contained breathing apparatus, equipped with the proposed regenerative product during use, has a lesser value of resistance to airflow for the breathing of the user.
EFFECT: longer protective power time of the self-contained breathing apparatus with the same mass-dimension characteristics and reduced adverse effects on the health of the person.
