FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of chemical substances used in insulating respiratory apparatuses on chemically bound oxygen, and can be used in production of products for air regeneration. Regenerative product for insulating respiratory apparatus contains 93–97 wt. % of potassium overperoxide (CO2) and 3–7 wt. % silicon dioxide (SiO2) in form of fibers obtained from chrysotile asbestos.

EFFECT: regenerative product of the proposed composition provides, during operation in the insulating respiratory apparatus, a low average and maximum volume fraction of carbon dioxide on inhalation, smaller weight and lower aerodynamic resistance to respiration of user, which in turn, provides more comfortable conditions for the user and allows to significantly expand the range of persons who can use these breathing apparatuses.
