FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of products for air regeneration on the basis of potassium superoxide used in life support systems working on fixed oxygen. Proposed method comprises the following. Initial components (potassium superoxide, calcium oxide or magnesium oxide or their mixes, asbestos, vollastonite or mixes thereof, and halides of alkaline or alkaline earth metals) are mixed at required ratio by whatever known method to produce homogeneous blend. Produced blend are sized to blocks, pellets, granules, etc. Thereafter said pellets are heat treated to 150-300°C for 3-8 hours. Produced product features higher processing temperature, uniform release of oxygen at negative operating temperatures in respiratory system.
EFFECT: increased time of protective action.
