FIELD: nuclear power plants.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nuclear power plant with a heavy liquid metal coolant and can be used in reactor plants with liquid metal cooling. A nuclear power plant with a heavy liquid metal coolant with a perforated flow distribution grate at the inlet to the steam generator contains a reactor with a liquid metal lead coolant or its alloys and a shielding gas system. The active zone, steam generators and circulation means, such as circulation pumps, are located under the free level of the coolant. Moreover, a perforated flow distribution grate is installed at the coolant outlet from the core.
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to optimize the flow and distribute the flow rate of the coolant in the pipe system of the steam generator of a nuclear power plant with a heavy liquid metal coolant, which improves the operational characteristics of the reactor plant.
