FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to electric engineering and can be used in reactive power compensators. Three-phase ring reactor contains magnetic conductor and three phase power windings. Magnetic conductor contains two side twisted ring-type magnetic conductors and interleaved rectangular teeth. The teeth are glued by their butt ends onto polished surface of the first side magnetic conductor, and by their opposite butt ends adjoin to polished surface of the second magnetic conductor through gasket of calibrated thickness made of non-magnetic material. Each phase power winding has two poles and is made of identical coils. Windings of each coil wrap one of the teeth. Each phase winding is located on 1/3 of surface of the first ring magnetic conductor and takes 1/3 of each polar pitch.

EFFECT: improvement of electric power quality in electric power lines, good manufacturability, mass and dimensions specific parameters reduction which leads to cost reduction.
