FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: test with reactive hyperemia according to D.Celermajer is carried out, diameter of brachial artery and peak systolic blood velocity are measured. The measurement is carried out before and in the first 15 seconds of reactive heperemia. Discriminant function (F1(x)) is calculated: F1(x)=-13.461-1.288*(sex)+0s021*V1+1.271*ΔD1 (%), where sex: 1 - male; 2 - female; ΔD1% - increase of brachial artery's diameter in the first 15 seconds of reactive hyperemia; V1, cm/sec - peak systolic velocity in the first 15 seconds of reactive hyperemia; -13.461; -1.280; 0.021; 1.271 - constants, received after statistic discriminant analyse. If F1(x) is more than 0.057, endothelial dysfunction is diagnosed.

EFFECT: reliability enhancement of the results.
