FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technology of sorbent production, in particular to production of optically active chiral sorbents and can be used in chemical, pharmaceutical and biochemical industry, medicine. Method of production lies in the following: acetate of cellulose of different acetilation degree is modified by keeping in vapours of mesophasogenic solvents in closed system at room temperature till degree of vapour absorption is not more than 11 wt %. Then modified structure of cellulose acetate is fixed by desorbing absorbed vapours in open system under standard conditions.
EFFECT: simplification of process of sorbent production.
