SUBSTANCE: as initial educts in reduction reaction, morpholinamides of nicotinic acid of formula I are used, in said formula R^1', R^1" each, independently on each other, represent H, Hal, A, OA, CH₂R² or Ar, R² represents OA or NA₂, A represents unbranched or branched alkyl, containing 1-10 carbon atoms, in which one or two CH₂ groups can be substituted with atoms of O or S and/or -CH=CH-groups and/or also 1-7 hydrogen atoms can be substituted with F, Ar represents unsaturated, partially or fully saturated, mono- or polycyclic homo- or heterocyclic system with heteroatoms O, N, S, which is not substituted or mono- , or polysubstituted with Hal, A, OA, NA₂, NO₂, NASO₂A, SO₂NA, SO₂A, and Hal represents F, Cl, Br or I, as well as to application of morpholinamides of nicotinic acid of formula I, in reduction reaction obtaining corresponding nicotinaldehydes, and to their initial educts of formula I.
