FIELD: organic chemistry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to derivatives of piperazine of the formula (I) 
where R1 means indole-3-yl residue substituted with radicals CN or Hal; R2 means unsubstituted 2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyrane-6-yl or 2-oxo-2H-1-benzopyrane-4-yl. Compounds are highly effective agonists of 5-HT1A and show inhibitory effect with respect to reuptake of 5-HT (serotonin). They can be used for both treatment and prophylaxis of fear states, depression, schizophrenia, compulsion neurosis states and for treatment and control of insult effects, in part, apoplectic shock and cerebral ischemia.
