FIELD: technological processes; metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of slag bath in crucible, melting of heat-resistant nickel alloy wastes, installation of iron chill under crucible and its filling with slag superheated by 250-300°C above liquidus temperature of melted alloys and metal. In the process of preparation and melting of heat-resistant nickel alloy wastes malting slag is overheated by 500-600°C above liquidus temperature of melted alloys, at that iron chill filling with metal is performed until thickness of liquid slag bath above metal mirror makes 0.5-5.0 mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce high-quality foundry of barstocks made of heat-resistant nickel alloys with high extent of metal refinement and absence of slag-metal structure in the top part of foundry.
