FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, and in particular to methods for manufacturing short-circuited rotors for electric machines, mainly asynchronous motors. Chill mold is assembled from a package of magnetic core sheets laminated on a mandrel, which is closed from the ends with two half-molds. Melt is heated to a temperature of not more than 750 °C and incubated until its temperature drops to 720–730 °C. At this temperature, the melt is refined, followed by exposure at the same melt temperature for at least 20 minutes. Then the slag is removed and the melt is poured from the furnace directly into the mold-die through the sprue bowl. Chill mold is pre-heated to a temperature of 580–610 °C, set on the vibrating table, which include when pouring with a vibration frequency in the range of 35–37 Hz. After pouring on the vibrating table, which continues to work, the vibration frequency is increased to 37–40 Hz and the cast die is maintained for 1–2 minutes.
EFFECT: possibility of reducing the leakage currents in the rotor winding, improving the efficiency of the electric machine and improving its performance.
