FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: device consists of wheel pair provided with sliding contacts, electric current source, wheel pair speed sensor, comparing unit the input of which is connected with output of wheel pair sliding speed sensors. Wheel pair is equipped with sliding contacts. The device is provided with pressure rollers, current regulator, power contactor and locomotive speed sensor. Pressure rollers rest on rails and comprise electrical short circuit together with rails, current regulator and sliding contacts. Locomotive speed sensors output is connected to comparing unit connected with current regulator. Accumulator battery is used as electric current source. Pressure rollers are electrically interconnected in pairs.
EFFECT: design simplification and device operation accuracy improvement, locomotive traction force increase due to wheel pair-rail adhesion coefficient value regulation.
