FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method of steel chemical heating supports inlet of aluminum into metal, oxygen blow through dipped into metal tuyere and further blow by inert gas, and after achieving of predetermined temperature metal is treated by calcium. For definition of calcium consumption it is used relation: QCa=441.2-0.00057×QO2-0.96QAl-9.06 (oxidation before - oxidation separately), where QCa - calcium consumption, kg; QO2 - oxygen consumption for chemical heating, m3; QAl - aluminum consumption for chemical heating, kg; O oxygen before, O oxygen sep - oxidation of metal before calcium addition and demanded level of oxidation for metal casting; 441.2; 0.00057; 0.96; 9.06 - empirically determined coefficient, received experimentally.
EFFECT: optimal content of oxygen at achieving of defined temperature of metal heating, forming of easy removing nonmetallic, improving of steel casting on varietals continuous caster, increasing of assorted output.
