FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to construction industry, and namely it is used for improving degree of fire resistance of covering being reconstructed with bearing steel beams and wooden filling as well as for reducing its fire rating. The aim of invention proposed is reduction of weight and fire rating of wood covering with bearing steel beams, use of light non-combustible insulating materials for structural fire protection of steel beams and wooden flooring when reconstructing the covering, reduction of materials consumed for covering reconstruction, decrease of destruction force of fire in the building due to decrease of fire development dynamics, and increase of resistance of bearing members of covering being reconstructed to thermal influence during fire. Roofing felt and sound-insulating fill is removed from top of wood covering, thus partially replacing elements of combustible filling by non-combustible insulating materials. After that membrane fireproofing on which heat-insulating mats made from non-combustible material are installed is attached to top of wood covering. Webs and flanges of steel beams inside air space of covering are protected from effect of high temperature of potential fire with fire-protective belts.
EFFECT: reduction of weight and fire rating, reduction of materials consumed for covering reconstruction, and decrease of destruction force of fire in the building.
