FIELD: fire protection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protecting buildings and their structures from fires; in particular, it can be used in the design, manufacture and operation of fire-resistant suspended ceilings of building floors made of large-sized sheets. A suspension of a fire-resistant suspended ceiling, connected to the floor of the building and to a channel made of a thin-walled steel profile, holding a large sheet of the suspended ceiling covering using self-tapping screws, and it is made in the form of an I-beam for the floor of the building, to the bottom flange of which, using a weld, the upper flange of the channel is attached, and a large-sized sheet of the suspended ceiling covering, using self-tapping screws, is attached to the lower flange of the channel, while the cavity of the channel is filled with non-combustible heat-insulating material. The cross-sectional height of the channel hp mm is not less than the width of the bottom flange in pl mm of the I-beam of the building floor.
EFFECT: improvement in the design of fire-retardant ceiling suspensions: reducing the volume, labour intensity and timing of ceiling work; reducing the height of the suspensions and increasing the useful construction volume of the building premises; increasing the strength, rigidity and fire resistance of the suspended ceiling; elimination of labour-intensive ceiling welds.
