FIELD: physics; computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to digital data processing for special application, particularly for automatic mode detection of stray electromagnetic radiation and computer equipment noise pickup. The correlated method involves starting up a certified "sound touch-up" test program in a computer, connected to the analysed computer equipment. The radiation from the computer equipment is received. In manual mode, the measuring receiver is tuned to the harmonic with the "sound touch-up", which is demodulated. The spectrum of the demodulated harmonic with "sound touch-up" is calculated. Frequency fmax, in the harmonic, corresponding to the maximum amplitude in the spectrum is determined. A reference signal is generated in form of a tone signal at frequency fmax. The analysed frequency range is scanned in automatic mode. At the current frequency, the correlation coefficient of the received and reference signals is determined, and then compared to a predetermined threshold value. Presence of stray electromagnetic radiation and computer equipment pickup noise in the radiation of the computer equipment at the current frequency is determined from the comparison results.
EFFECT: faster processing of analysis results; detection of stray electromagnetic radiation and computer equipment pickup noise at 15dB.
