FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: electric locomotive drive contains direct-current traction motors with series connected armature winding, reverser, static exciter. Drive is additionally equipped with excitation switch contact, replenishment diode shunting independent excitation contact. Exciter contains diode and two controlled rectifiers, principally thyristors. Anodes of controlled rectifiers are connected with clamps of power source independent of armature circuit; cathode rectifiers are connected to second exciter lead. Normally open independent excitation contact shunted by replenishment diode, its anode being connected to inductive shunt junction with fixed independent excitation contact, is installed between current-limiting resistor and inductive shunt. Replenishment diode is connected by cathode to common junction of fixed contact of high-speed contactor, second lead of current-limiting resistor, and independent excitation movable contact. Between excitation winding output and first exciter input, independent excitation switch contact is connected with reversers installed within armature winding circuit of traction motors.
EFFECT: increase of performance stability of electric drive and efficiency of emergency operation protection.
