FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electronic identification device is placed at a distance from opposite ends of a pipe. The identification device is fixed to the surface of a sheet of flexible material. The first sheet is wound around an axis. A second sheet of flexible material has a through opening and is also wound around an axis, touching the surface of the first sheet, and is glued to it. The electronic identification device is put into the opening of the second sheet. The device reacts to radio frequencies and can store and transmit information on multilayered pipework, products and processes, taking place over them.
EFFECT: identification device cannot be noticed and removed; increased efficiency of packing.
