FIELD: mechanics, chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: underwater storage for crude oil or some other fluid medium comprises storage section made from oil-and-water impermeable fabric, anchor and transfer sections. Aforesaid storage compartment represents flexible balloon filled with fluid medium and emptied thereof. The anchor section represents an intermediate structure arranged between the main structure and sea floor and furnished with appropriate anchoring appliances. Aforesaid transfer section incorporates pipes and valves to load/unload stored fluid medium and is arranged in fact outside the main structure. Aforesaid structural section represents an outer enclosure arranged above the storage section and is closed at its top so as to form a space with volume closed from above and corresponding at least to that of the storage section, but with holes at its bottom part. Aforesaid storage section is made from complex polyether material coated on both sides with a copolymer alloy based on chlorinated structurised ethylene.

EFFECT: new underwater storage for crude oil and other fluid media, easy in operation and ruling out emulsion layer formation and bacteria growth.
