FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: composite ceramic material comprised of matrix and hardener, contains ultra-disperse powder of Zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) as matrix and reinforcing particles as hardener. Reinforcing particles are produced from Zirconium dioxide (ZrO2) and aluminium oxide (Al2O3) by plasma-chemical method. Composite ceramic material has the following ratio of matrix and hardener, vol %: reinforcing particles - 15-40, matrix - zirconium dioxide powder is the rest of material. Reinforcing particles include 20-50 vol % of aluminium oxide (Al2O3). Reinforcing particles dimensions are 0.1-10 μ. Properties of material: ultimate bending strength σbend.=1100-1200 MPa; fracture viscosity K1c=10-15 MPa m1/2; hardness HV=12-14 GPa.

EFFECT: development of composite ceramic materials with high fracture viscosity.
