FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy of light alloys, particularly aluminum alloys, and can be used in production of ingots by different casting methods. Method of producing cast composite material based on aluminum alloy, containing hardening endogenous inclusions of intermetallic phases of composition Al3X, where X is a dopant which is selected from Ti, Zr, Ni, and exogenous discrete ceramic micro- and nanosized particles selected from group TiC, ZrC, B4C, SiC, Al2O3, TiB2, BN, TiN, includes introduction into alloy molten metal of alloying element and ceramic phase, holding of molten metal for formation of intermetallic phases, mixing and casting, wherein high-temperature ceramic phases are formed by metal-thermal synthesis in a separate conical crucible of graphite with a hole in the bottom part, introduction of ceramic phase into melt is carried out in liquid state in amount of 0.2–10 wt% at temperature of 720–780 °C and maintained till casting for 5–20 minutes with formation of transient intermetallic phases in amount of 20–35 vol% with size of <10 mcm and ceramic particles with size >70 nm.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at production of cast composite material based on aluminum alloy with high level of heat resistance and wear resistance.
