FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: retinomorphographic parameter of neuroretinal belt is defined. At inclination of the optic disk nerve for more than average the neuroretinal belt volume is estimated by the formula: RV1=RV-K*(h-175), whereRV1 - true neuroretinal belt volume, RV - retinomorphographic volume of neuroretinal belt, h - inclination of optic disk nerve, 175 - average value of optic disk nerve inclination, K=0.0017. At value of neuroretinal belt volume less than 345 mm2 glaucoma is diagnosed.
EFFECT: improvement of glaucoma quality diagnostics at early stages.
