FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for casting of grinding rolls, of barrel diameter 0.23-0.35 m and of length till 1.8 m with working lining of thickness till 0.03 m. Pouring of metal is implemented by means of machine with horizontal rotation axis. After pouring of blank external layer made of wear-resistant cast-iron on liquid metal glass of internal surface of external layer, allowing liquidus temperature, it is poured grey or high-duty cast iron of internal layer. Pouring of internal layer is implemented at temperature exceeding liquidus temperature for 80-100°C. Mould is rotated with frequency, appropriate to values of gravitational coefficient 90-110 on surface of internal and external layer contact.
EFFECT: durable welding of two heterogeneous by chemical composition cast irons, required solidity and minimal fall-out of hardness by section of working layer.
