FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: flushing method includes batching, charging and spreading of flushing material, its fusion penetration in common with iron-ore materials and coke, composition change of wind during the period of flushing, outputting of melting products. In the capacity of flushing material it is used mixture of iron ore, converter slag and steel-smelting scrap. Charging of mixture is implemented into intermediate annular space of mouth, located at a distance not less than 0.12-0.25 of radius from walls and axis. At outputting of melting products wind is moistened by steam till content in it H2O in the range 24-36 g/m3. Ratio of iron ore weight to total weight of converter slag and steel-smelting scrap in mixture is established in the range from 50:50 till 70:30. Wind moistening by steam is started simultaneously with outputting of melting products and finished after 20-40 minutes.
EFFECT: reduction of coke consumption and blast furnace increase in productivity.
