FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes oxygen-lancing process through tuyer after charge melting. Tuyer is introduced under heel to a depth of 0.5-0.6 of bath depth and fixed rate of oxygen flow is kept by mans of tuyer dumping as far as its melting. Facility corresponds tuyer, composed from steel punched outer shell and aluminum inner shell. On the rest of punched outer shell there are implemented openings by diameter not more than 0.1 of tuyer outlet opening diameter. Openings are located individually in horizontal sections of tuyer at a distance, equal to tuyer gauge from each other, with central angle between openings axis 90°. At that tuyer is connected to oxygen supply by means of articulated joint.
EFFECT: reduction of oxygen discharge intensity and waste of metal at steel smelting in arc steel-making furnace.
