SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the sphere of processing of snow mass removed from the roads. Device for preparation of snow mass to thawing contains arranged above the melting chamber incoming hopper with mobile grill, made of connected with actuator of horizontal rollers accommodating rigidly fixed on them discs evenly spaced over the length of the roller and hammers rigidly fixed between each of the pair of discs at screw line along the roller. Whereat driven rollers are arranged parallel to the direction of hopper feeding and set on the body rolling bearings set on the ends of the roller. One of the bodies of the bearings of each of the roller is connected through a glass with a flange with motor-reducer, connected with a roller through elastic sleeve set inside the glass. Besides, bodies are coupled with the frame by flap-out bolts set in the slots in the bearings bodies.

EFFECT: increased throughput capacity and reliability of the device for preparation of the snow mass to thawing.
