FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: proposed plant comprises intake hoppers mounted above smelting chambers. Said hoppers are furnished with moving grates made up of horizontal shafts. Every shaft is coupled with separated geared motor drive and provided with discs fitted regularly on the shaft and fixed thereon. Hammers are secured in spiral line over shaft length between every pair of discs. Said shafts run in rolling bearings fitted on shaft extensions. One of housings is coupled via cup with appropriate geared motor. Housing bottom section features double-sided wedge surface. Said housings are mounted on common frame and bolted thereto, said dog bolts are arranged in bearing housing grooves. Moving grates are made up of horizontal shafts and arranged along edges of smelting chambers. Shafts are arranged parallel with and perpendicular to snow feed direction. Said hoppers may be transformed subject to arrangement of shafts.
