FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to investigation of materials without their destruction, namely to radiation flaw detection, more specifically to gamma-flaw detection.
EFFECT: technical result obtained during the gamma flaw detector of the gate type is to ensure its stable radiation safety in storage, operation and transportation conditions, including emergency (with probability of dynamic displacement of centre of gravity), modifying the locking assembly locking system in the form of the radiation protection segment attached to the rotary link for its automated cyclic force retention in the corresponding structural space in the closed state after the working cycle completion, and unblocking in the process of operation is performed exclusively before the radiation beam release by the operator's command in manual mode.
