CONTROLLED ENCRYPTION WITH SUPERIMPOSITION IN MULTIPLE USER COMMUNICATION NETWORK Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC H04L25/49 H04B7/24

Abstract RU 2343642 C2

FIELD: physics; communications.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to wireless communications systems and can be used in multiple user communications system. The system comprises base station and several wireless terminals. Information on the quality of the channel of each of the wireless terminals is kept in the system. The information on channel conditions is checked and segment of the communication channel for transmitting superimposed signals is selected. The base station used in the communication system comprising several wireless terminals, contains information on channel conditions, apparatus for checking the information on channel conditions, apparatus for selecting the communication channel segment to be used for transmitting superimposed signals. The wireless terminal comprises receiver for selecting the superimposed signal, superimposition decoder for decoding parts of the signal, apparatus for determining from the information, contained in one part of signal, which part is meant for the wireless terminal. The wireless terminal also has transmitter for transmitting signals in segments of the up-link, which correspond to the selected superimposed signals. At the same time, transmission is carried out using the same frequency. The signals are combined in the communication channel, resulting in a single transmission of two superimposed signals. When the base station receives superimposed signals, it uses methods of decoding with superimposition, so as to reconstruct both signals.

EFFECT: wider system bandwidth when using encryption with superimposition.
