FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: method of formation of data on quality of communication line for available communication lines in mobile communication device in system using many carrier frequencies consists in the following: receiving of first signal-beacon corresponding to first carrier frequency in first sector of first cell, measuring of drive of received first signal-beacon for evaluation of quality of first communication line, which may be established with first point of network connection corresponding to first carrier frequency in first sector of first cell, and evaluation of quality of communication line which may be established with second point of network connection in above mentioned first sector of first cell corresponding to second carrier frequency which differs from first carrier frequency due to energy measured in received first signal-beacon and known data about stable power differential between levels of transmission power of signals which are transmitted in first sector using first and second carrier frequencies.

EFFECT: facilitation of mobile node operation at varied number of carriers per one sector.
