FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention includes ways of manufacturing implants for brachytherapy, ways of manufacturing of core implants for brachytherapy and implants for brachytherapy, not dependent on the method of manufacturing. In one version, the implant for brachytherapy contains the tight inorganic metal cylinder with the radioactive core placed in it. The radioactive core contains tube from inorganic amorphous silicate glass with the external surface proceeding axially along the tube. The inorganic crystalline ceramic covering holds on a site of an external surface of a tube from inorganic amorphous glass. The covering contains a therapeutic dose of a radioactive material. Radio graphic marker is placed in the tight inorganic metal cylinder.
EFFECT: effective application for destruction of malignant or undesirable tissues without an excessive lesion of the next healthy tissues.
