FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns sorbent obtainment from hydrophobisated mineral carriers. Method of sorbent obtainment involves feeding alumosilicate carrier particles and silicon organic compound in the form of water solution to drying zone of work chamber, together with compressed air providing silicon organic compound dispersion; feeding of heated air flow to the work chamber to create gushing layer in coating and drying zones of working chamber by the heated air flow; coating carrier particles with silicon organic compound by interaction with dispersed silicon organic compound in the gushing layer in coating zone; and drying in gushing layer in the drying zone. Device for sorbent obtainment includes work chamber containing coating and drying zones, three feed lines of respective reagents, nozzle for silicon organic compound dispersion in coating zone of work chamber.
