FIELD: bottling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vessel corking devices means comprising a case and membrane, and to method of tightly sealing aforesaid vessel with the said corking device. The latter incorporates a gasketless membrane and a case, the said membrane being thermally welded to the vessel rim to form a gas-tight barrier. The aforesaid case consists of the top plate and a skirt passing downwards. Note also that the case is furnished with a flexible sealing element passing downward from the top plate to bring a uniform sealing pressure onto the said membrane in thermal welding and to re-seal the vessel after breaking or removing the membrane.
EFFECT: repeated gas-proof sealing after membrane breakage or removal.
