SUBSTANCE: following indicators are evaluated: P - actual pulse rate average for day (pulse/minute); S - actual systolic arterial pressure average for day (mm of mercury column); D - actual diastolic arterial pressure average for day (mm of mercury column); A - actual age (full year number at the moment of observation, years); W - actual body weight at the moment of observation (kg); H - height of patient at the moment of observation (cm). Morphofunctional index is calculated by the formula: and for index value equal or under 0 diabetes course is assessed as compensated, with high level of functional capacities and rehabilitation potential; for index value within 0 to 1 interval, diabetes course is assessed as subcompensated, with middle level of functional body capacities and satisfactory rehabilitation potential; for index value over 1, diabetes course is assessed as decompensated, with low level of functional body capacities and low rehabilitation potential.

EFFECT: efficient control over diabetes course, prompt diagnostics of complication progress, treatment correction and timely referral of patient to medical social expertise.
