METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVE ASSESSMENT OF REHABILITATION POTENTIAL IN PATIENTS AFTER CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS GRAFTING AT STAGE II OF CARDIAC REHABILITATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2696763 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for determining a rehabilitation potential (RP) in cardiac patients. A set of 11 patient values is determined: age, body weight index (BWI, kg/m2), hemoglobin level, adherence to recommendations to doctors, history of arterial hypertension (AH), myocardial infarction in past medical history, the effect of postoperative complications on the rate of physical rehabilitation (PR) at stage 2 of cardiac rehabilitation (CR), the presence of chronic cardiac failure (CCF) in the diagnosis, presence of a concomitant pathology, which restricts PR, a stage of motor activity (MA) developed at I stage of CR, level of daily motor activity. Further, the indices are evaluated in points in accordance with Table 2 contained in the description. Then the numerical value of RP is determined as the sum of products of each of the indicators by its coefficient of influence according to the claimed formula. If the result is more than 45, the RP is considered to be low, if the result within range of 25–45 RP is average, if the result is less than 25 RP is high.

EFFECT: method enables assessing a patient's ability to expand motor activity at a given stage, as well as constructing a personalized rehabilitation program by evaluating a complex of the most significant indicators.
