FIELD: mining engineering; mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: jaw crusher consists of a frame with two side walls and a movable jaw installed between them on an eccentric shaft and rested by its bottom part on a toggle plate, which is connected with a back stop made in the form of movable traverse beam with two its bearing ends mounted in such a manner as to be able to move in appropriate openings in side walls of said frame and to interact with wedge mechanism of wall fixing, a hydraulic cylinder, a set of shims for adjustment of output slot width, and a closing device in the form of rod with spring. Each bearing end of said movable beam is installed between two segments located in cylinder-shaped openings in side walls of said frame and having their bases positioned at an angle one to another; at the same time bearing surfaces of movable traverse beam, that are in contact with segment's bases, are inclined one to another. Shims are installed in a gap between upper segment and upper bearing surface of said movable traverse beam. Hydraulic cylinder is located between side walls of frame above said movable traverse beam and connected by detachable articulating joint with rear surface of movable jaw, while rod of closing device is provided with an engaging step that interacts with said movable traverse beam.
EFFECT: improved crusher reliability, simplification of its design and improvement of operating conditions.
