FIELD: chemistry; biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to biotechnology and is a method of obtaining amino acids from a family of phosphoglycerates using Escherichia coli cells, suitable for fermentative production of amino acids, and with high activity of the yfiK gene product. Escherichia coli cells are obtained from transformation of initial cells using a plasmid, containing the yfiK gene and a promoter.
EFFECT: obtaining amino acids from a family of phosphoglycerates with high efficiency.
