FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely to engine production. The proposed invention consists in that the engine consists of three cylinders with axes located in one plane at an angle of 60 degrees to each other and forming an equilateral triangle, six pistons, three central and three forked con-rods fitted in pairs on three crankshafts. Twin central and forked con-rods are fitted on different crankshaft journals but in one rolling plane. The rod journal of the forked con-rods consists of two halves between which a central con-rod journal is located. The angle between cranks of twin con-rods makes 60 degrees. This arrangement of the engine allows eliminating lengthwise unbalanced moments. Note that the forces of inertia of mass are mutually exclusive. Unbalanced centrifugal forces can be equilibrated withy the help of balancers arranged on the flange extension. The arrangement of cranks at the previously mentioned angle of 60 degrees allows a uniform working stroke alternation with the shift of turning angle through 120 degrees.
EFFECT: improved balance.
