FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of internal combustion engines, in particular, to reduction of vibrations during transitions between engine operation modes with disengaged cylinders. Disclosed are methods of reducing vibrations during transitions between engine operating conditions in four-cylinder engine, including: setting of moments of performing transitions between two-cylinder, three-cylinder and four-cylinder modes of operation with such sequence of ignition events, at which ignition events are separated by intervals of 120 degrees of crankshaft turning angle. Vibrations arising as a result of transitions can be counteracted by controlling active supports, wherein active supports are synchronously controlled with switching electromagnet of gas-distributing mechanism.
EFFECT: reduced noise and vibration of engine.
