FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production and can be used for distributed fuel injection ICE control. The proposed method of determining the electronically-controlled ICE stroke phase uses the crankshaft position sender, micro-computer-based controller, fuel jets and ignition coils and allows the ICE cylinder selection, making a trial fuel injection into the selected cylinder, air-fuel ignition in the selected cylinder and determination of the selected cylinder working stroke and ICE stroke phase. The stroke phase is determined on starting the ICE. For this the ICE crankshaft is cranked, fuel is injected into the selected cylinder to be ignited therein. Fuel is fed into the other cylinders after determination of the ICE stroke phase.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of ICE control without phase counter.
