FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines with distributed injection of fuel. Proposed method of determination of phase of working cycle of multicylinder internal combination engine with distributed group injection of fuel with measuring of angular velocity of crankshaft includes measuring of average value of angular velocity, deviation of angular velocity from average value and maximum value of deviation of angular velocity from average value. Test injection of fuel into one of cylinders is done, and working stroke of said cylinder is determined by excess of deviation of angular velocity relative to maximum value.
EFFECT: possibility of determination of working cycle phase at no (vanishing) signal phase sensor.
