FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion engines with distributed injection of fuel. Proposed method of determination of phase of working cycle of four-stroke internal combustion engine with distributed group injection of fuel includes successive measuring of time T of crankshaft turning through angle Φ≤4π/n. Then average value Tav of time T, deviation ΔT of time T from average value Tav and maximum deviation ΔTmax from average value Tav are found, and test injection of reduced/increased amount of fuel for one of cylinders is carried out and working stroke of said cylinder is determined by excess of deviation ΔT over maximum value ΔTmax.
EFFECT: possibility of determination of working cycle phase in system provided with phase sensor with measurement of crankshaft turning.
